Integrity Management Engineer in AU-VI-Melbourne, Australia

Wood has a requirement for an Integrity Engineer to be based in our central Melbourne office.  We are looking to speak with interested candidates for future opportunities commencing in 2020.  This requirement for additional expertise has developed from the continued success and growth of the Asset Performance Optimisation team in the region.

Our ideal candidate will hold at minimum a Bachelors degree and wishing to pursue their interest in Maintenance, Reliability & Integrity Engineering.  You will have achieved distinctions from an accredited University and potentially undertaking further study.  Vocational experience associated with Commerce / Business / Data Analytics / Marketing is also desirable.  On joining the team you will quickly be involved in providing consulting and engineering solutions to our clients delivering improved outcomes while balancing integrity, reliability, performance and cost. 

At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit / VISA for this region in place.

After initial Company inductions and training, our selected candidate will quickly be involved in a variety of tasks such as:

  • Development of client proposals and scopes of work
  • Involvement in the development and implementation of asset integrity management (AIMS) programs 
  • Evaluate asset information to determine hazards, failure modes and risk mitigations
  • Assessing damage mechanisms in oil and gas industries
  • Utilise spreadsheet and database tools to capture and manipulate data; identifying trends and equipment health concerns
  • KPI reporting and performance metric development for system integrity
  • Develop maintenance strategies using a reliability-centred maintenance approach
  • Updating Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)  
  • Fitness for service assessment
  • Setup and configuration of Integrity Management Database Systems
  • Development of client reports to communicate results and recommendations
  • Assuming ownership of small projects, managing from start to finish following Woods Quality Management System


Skills / Qualifications

  • Engineering degree at distinction level or above from an accredited University
  • Further qualification in Commerce / Business / Data Analytics / Marketing or previous commercial exposure would be advantageous
  • We will consider engineers with 4 8 years experience, with remuneration for this position reflective of experience
