Description POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, applies skilled knowledge to repair, and conduct preventative maintenance of considerable difficulty on multiple types of mechanically operated equipment, tools and vehicles

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Abide by all Oil States Energy Services Safety and Operational Policies and Procedures
• Perform repairs and/or preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment, tools, vehicles or other such mechanically operated system
• Develops preventative maintenance schedules and ensures compliance from assigned personnel
• Maintains maintenance logs
• Conducts maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance on location(s)
• Operates and inspects cranes, heavy equipment, and vehicles
• Performs rebuilds on appropriate operating systems/vehicles
• Perform safety inspections of all assigned equipment/tools/vehicles, etc.
• Troubles shoots and examines parts for damage or excessive wear using visual acuity, micrometres and gauges
• Weld and cut as needed during fabrication processes
• Rigs and fabricates new equipment to company and district standards
• Creates and executes repair orders
• Maintains inventory for parts and supplies to ensure availability when needed
• Diagnoses mechanical issues and completes appropriate repairs
• Identifies and obtains appropriate replacement parts
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment
• Clean and maintain work area
• Maintains tools and ensures their security
• Maintains and tests mechanical equipment, machinery and components
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SPECIALIZED DUTIES
• Ability to use an overhead crane
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to use computers for clocking in and out of work, and documenting information for work orders (traveler)
• Ability to use the various tools at specific locations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Tools and application based on job and requirements
• Knowledge of 12-volt electrical system
• Some hydraulic knowledge based on location
• Demonstrate effective verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of different power plants
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturers written guides and instruction
• Ability to read and interpret written instruction, and schematics
• Ability to learn and apply Manufacturing Governing Standards guidelines (i.e., ASME, API, AWS)
• Must successfully pass pre- and post- employment drug and alcohol test per company policy.
Requirements QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 36-48 months experience in an equivalent or experienced role

CERTIFICATION & LICENSES
• Clear driving record per OSES standards

• Must be able to list up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds, or more
• Requires pushing, pulling, bending, standing, kneeling, carrying, sitting, climbing for extended periods of time each day, and working in awkward positions (i.e. overhead)
• Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) required which includes close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must wear safety shoes, goggles, etc. based on location needs and requirements
• Must be able to travel, and perform duties out on locations as required
