ERP Manager in US-Chesterfield-MO, United States

Aegion Corporation is looking for an experienced ERP Manager for its headquarters in Chesterfield, MO.

Responsibilities

The ERP Manager plays a key role on our IT team, having both people-leading and project management responsibility within our JDE environment.

Department Management

  • Lead the Business Analyst team while serving as the liaison between the business and the I.T. department for the design, development, and implementation of solutions.
  • Function as the Agile Scrumaster, oversee the day-to-day system support, priorities, and projects associated with ERP (JD Edwards) functionality.
  • Ensure department compliance associated with policies, procedures, and standards, including IT change management and controls.
  • Conduct periodic and annual employee performance reviews, focusing on rewards, teamwork, technical skills, attitude, customer satisfaction, communication, and professional development.
  • Develops and fosters a work environment based on collaboration, results, inclusion, creativity, integrity, motivation, and work life balance.
  • Responsible for overall team success, customer satisfaction, and fostering positive relationships across all business areas.

Project Management

  • Responsible for applying PMBOK principles and Aegion implementation methodology, policies, procedures, deliverables, and tools.
  • Accountable for business engagement, project budget, schedule, scope, and customer satisfaction.
  • Adept at System Development Life Cycle processes and deliverables driving the following activities of the project team:
    • As-is and To-be business process design sessions
    • Gap analysis and mitigation plans
    • Detailed design and configuration of the business process/functional solutions
    • All testing activities and phases
    • Creation and delivery of end-user training
    • Go-Live data transition and validation
  • Experience in developing and applying the following project deliverables:
    • Charter/Funding Approval
    • Project Plan/Schedule
    • Effort and Cost Estimate Creation and Tracking
    • Status Reports and Management Communication
    • Issue and Risk Tracking
    • Blueprint and Functional/Technical Specifications
    • Test Plan
    • Training Plan
    • Cutover Plan and Go/No-Go Approval
    • Post-Production Support Approach

JDE Edwards/ERP

  • If required, in a part-time capacity, serve as the functional lead for implementing and supporting the standardized, JD Edwards Supply Chain related functionality; act as the 'go-to' person for problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Understand the impact of the other JDE modules on the Supply Chain Related functionality


Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years as Senior Business/Functional Analyst in an JD Edwards ERP environment.
  • 5+ years experience with full life-cycle JD Edwards implementation and support.
  • 3+ years certified PPM; hands-on experience in Agile and Waterfall Methodology.
  • 3+ years experience managing 3+ Business/Functional Analyst in an ERP environment.
  • Substantial exposure to key JD Edwards modules: Finance, A/P, A/R, Sales Order Management (OTC processes), Procurement (PTP processes), Job Cost, Contract Billing, Revenue Recognition, Manufacturing, Payroll, and Inventory.
  • Organized with effective problem-solving skills and an analytical aptitude.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the creation of informative presentations with an effective, concise message.
  • Ability to travel for international projects/efforts (valid/current passport is a must)
